Liahonia Concludes Talks with the UCCR

Beginning on June 10, 2021, His Majesty The King began a discussion with a representative of the Union of Christian Communist Republics on the topics of social diversity and religious freedom, according to an official transcript released by the Department of Foreign Relations. The discussion was held on MicroWiki, following the department’s decision to add the UCCR to the list of Unrecognized Micronations. According to the transcript, the goal was to “persuade the UCCR to lift their restrictions on religious freedom.” This goal ultimately was not met. On June 17, it was decided to end the talks after several days without a response from the UCCR. The status of the UCCR will remain unchanged, unless they pass legislation to lift these restrictions.
