The Royal Herald Relaunch

After nearly four years of inactivity, The Royal Herald has finally completed its relaunch initiative. We have moved (again...) to Blogger, refreshed our logo, and simplified our website. We hope this revitalization helps our audience to be able to access the news of the Kingdom of Liahonia in a better, more effective way. So, let's dive deeper into some of the changes, shall we?

First, the move. We spent our first year on Google Sites. On January 21, 2021, we announced our plan to move to WordPress, with the hope of making our site more organized and accessible. That move was finalized on May 21 later that year. While that move was successful, the website ultimately fell into disuse, pushed to the back burner for the foreseeable future. On May 31, 2026, after nearly four years since our last article was posted, it was decided to initiate a project to relaunch our website. We chose to move to Blogger to simplify not only our look, but also our operations. And, we are still as organized and accessible as we once were, thus keeping to our mission.

As part of our relaunch, we also gave our logo a refresh. Similar to our website, the design of the logo was simplified, while keeping to the form of the original. The text is now more defined, while our signature trumpet has been trimmed down to a clearer shape. We have also begun using color to help engage our audience. Red and yellow, and the science behind them as attention seekers, have been studied for centuries. These two colors, just as they are in our logo, will be used in our branding to bring people in, to captivate them, and then inspire them to come back.

We hope these revitalization efforts will help people become more connected with our nation's story, as we continue with our mission to "empower the informed."🎺
